Michelle Cortez

Michelle started her career in the accounting department of a large grower, and moved to the sales desk after only a few months. She eventually became sales manager, specializing in wet and warm veg from Mexico and has overseen 30+ commodities. Through her work, she discovered a true passion for advocating on behalf of the produce Industry.
Michelle has served on the B.I.M.P committee, the United Supply Chain Committee, and she has served as the chair of the Clean Eating Challenge. She is a founding member of In Bloom, now serving as its chair. She also serves on the TIPA board of directors. In her spare time, Michelle enjoys spending time with her twins, reading and writing.
April Flowers
Lone Star Citrus Growers
A graduate of Stephen F. Austin State University, April began her career as an educator and instructional coach. After 7 years in education, she stepped away when she and her husband, T.J., decided to invest in LSCG. During that time, she worked part-time for Welcome Home RGV where she fell in love with niche marketing. She officially joined LSCG in 2014 as Marketing Director.
April is passionate about community service and is a founding member of In Bloom: TIPA Women in Produce. She serves on the boards of the Texas International Produce Association, Make-A-Wish RGV, and National Charity League RGV. She is also a national advocate for the Epilepsy Foundation of America. April is a fan of farm to table cuisine, reading, art, and traveling with her husband and two daughters.
Olivia Storvick
Schraad Inc,
Olivia graduated from Denison University with a degree in biology and worked in medical device sales prior to finding her calling in the produce industry. Through her tenure at NatureSweet Tomatoes, she developed a deep appreciation for the impact that food accessibility has on quality of life. Her passion for equitable access to healthful foods has continued to guide her while at Campbell's and Schraad Sales & Marketing, where she is currently the Associate Director of fresh insights.
The beneficiary of encountering strong and diverse leaders throughout her career, Olivia seeks to help recruit and develop the next generation of leaders by serving on both the IFPA DEI and TIPA In Bloom committees. In her spare time, she enjoys active travel with her husband, twin boys and goldendoodle.
Amanda Horney
London Fruit Inc.
Amanda Horney has served as the Business Development Manager at London Fruit since October 2019. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communications -Public Relations degree from the University of Texas at Arlington and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Texas Pan American. Amanda currently serves on the Texas International Produce Association Lime Committee and was honored as one of Produce Business's 40 Under 40 in 2023.
In her spare time, she acts as a Global Real Estate Advisor for Dielmann Sotheby’s International Realty. Additionally, she is an engaged member of the Living Hope Church of Viburnum and enjoys tending to her solar-powered hobby farm alongside her husband and daughter.
